Raising the Barn: A New Chapter Taking Shape

There’s something special about watching a dream rise from the ground—slowly, steadily, beam by beam.

This week, the walls of our new barn are beginning to take shape. The first floor is up, and for the first time, we can truly see the outline of what’s to come—a space that will hold not only tools and harvest baskets, but conversations, learning, and connection.

When complete, the barn will become a gathering place for workshops, retreats, and community events—a place to pause, reflect, and grow together. It will be a living part of Sweet Earth Orchard’s purpose: helping people reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world.

For now, we’re celebrating the simple joy of progress—the smell of fresh-cut wood, the hum of work, and the view of Long’s Peak standing watch as this space takes form.

Step by step, piece by piece, the barn is coming to life—and with it, a new way to share this land’s story.
